My father is getting a bit elderly now. He doesn’t like to admit that he needs a bit more care and attention than he used to. He seems to be getting a few aches and pains and especially getting a bit of rheumatism in his knees. I have bought him a gel pack hoping that it will help him. He told me that he didn’t need it at all and was almost offended. I knew that he would react like this but I am hoping that once he has it on hand then he might use it if he is in pain again. Hopefully he will reach for the Colpac because he is on his own and no one else will know if he does. He refuses to take pain killers as he is worried about how they might react with his other medication and too right really. I am sure that he could check with his doctor to see what is safe to take but hopefully this gel pack will sort things out for him, at least for a while anyway. I am hoping that it will stop him being so stiff when he tries to stand up and will help him also not to feel sore when he has walked a lot and so his sore knees will not stop him being able to go out.
