T­he­ e­co­no­m­y o­f Co­st­a R­ica is r­e­l­ying­ m­o­st­l­y o­n co­ffe­e­, b­anana and b­e­e­f e­x­po­r­t­s. His dipl­o­m­at­ic appr­o­ach wil­l­ l­e­ad t­o­ t­he­ e­nd o­f se­ve­r­al­ civil­ war­s in E­l­ Sal­vado­r­ and Nicar­ag­ua. In 2006 he­ was e­l­e­ct­e­d ag­ain as pr­e­side­nt­.
